I always like steamboat or hotpot and I long heard of Hai Di Lao at 313 Somerset. Finally, I have a chance to try it today. Many people have told me that its always crowded and queues are long. But for lunch, its not that bad.
The waiting area is huge and I can really imagine the crowd of hungry, waiting diners waiting for a seat.
There’s even a play area for children!
But its lunch time… ^_^
I gone ahead and help myself to the the dessert and sauces bar only to realise later I have to pay $4.
Anyway, here comes the soup…
and the food…
Live handmade noodles … also $4 for one long long strand of noodle.
And let’s get started!
Overall the experience is good, the food is nice though a little on the expensive side.
