Latest playground @Admiralty Park

The first thing that greets a new visitor on a typical weekend… is the crowd.

This new playground is famous for its slides…

…as well as other fun stuff.

The only issue I observe is a design oversight that led to the need to station (temporary I think) workers to man a few parts of the playground for safety.

These workers have to get those that slide out to move immediately out of the way of those coming down, some really fast because of the height of the slide.

Fun at Tiong Bahru Park

I read about the Tiong Bahru Park’s interesting playground quite sometime ago and always wanted to bring my kids there. But everytime we find time to go, it’ll rain and we’ll have to postpone the trip. Finally, we made it today.

OCBC WaterFest @ the Sportshub

I’ve read about the OCBC WaterFest and its list of water events for children to try out. But when I went there with my young children, we didn’t make it very far beyond the wet bouncy castle.

Before we could check out the various booths and activities, they spotted the wet play area.

Though we didn’t explore much but at least they had real fun!

Visit to the Rainforest Kidzworld, Singapore Zoo

People typically go to the zoo to see the animals. Children normally also goes to the zoo to see them. But when my wife had access to corporate pass to the zoo, river safari and bird parks… what really attracts them now is the playground.

Even though we didn’t specially look out for animals, my children still excitedly point out to the squirrel when they see one.DSC01702_upload

I also happen to notice this colourful bird walking around and its not shy when I approach it with my camera.

Exploring the Far East Organization Children’s Garden

I brought my family to explore the Far East Organization Children’s Garden. It is still quite a short walk from the visitor centre, as one can’t literally bash through the ‘trees’.

The first thing that greeted us when we got there is the water playground, the Water Play. It is too windy and chilling and hence to the disappointment of my young children, they don’t get to play with the water. At least not today.

Anyway, their disappointment is short-lived, the dry playgrounds are fun as well, especially the Rainforest Tree Houses.

We’ll definitely be back for more. When the weather turn warmer, the children can get wet as well 🙂
