I intentionally made this trip with my family to Gardens by the Bay to go up to the OCBC skywalk. It is unfortunate that the skywalk closes earlier on weekends, especially Sunday. Anyway, we reach early, got the tickets and went for dinner before we returned to queue and go up just before 7.30pm. It is much nicer at night than in the day, to see the citylights from a higher vantage point.
The skywalk will suay and oscillate when anyone walks or runs by… hence it is almost impossible to use the tripod here for long exposures.
This shot is done by merging and auto-aligning 3 different exposures using Photomatix. The supertree is much brighter than the financial centre in the background, hence HDR is necessary here.
