There are many things to try and order from the menu. Unfortunately, neither my friend and I can’t eat much nor are we adventurous to put more variety on the table. We had a good lunch though, but not good enough for food photography.
Chuka Ika Sansai
Shake Wafu Teppan
This is my second time at Azur but the first time for Christmas dinner. But most surprising is seeing the sashimi and a quick check with NEA website provides the assurances.
Usual seafood selection
Salad station, my favorite.
and Christmas special pastries
The food is nice but the selection is quite limited for the price.
Every time there’s a big event at Gardens by the Bay, it always pays to go early because the walk from the Bayfront station will be VERY crowded and the roads leading to the car park will be jammed. For Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay is not different. We came early, very early so that my kids get to play.
There are many activities and attractions. The highlights are the Ice Palace, TrickArt and the Carnival games.
One has to be really really early for the Ice Palace, especially the ice playground because its really small and only a few can play at each half an hour interval and the hence the tickets got sold out very fast.
Price are quite expensive though… $12 for hour an hour in the freezer and $10 for the Carousel.
But for me, I really enjoy the lights.
Today, we brought our kids for a visit to Hay’s Dairies Goat Farm. We got to know this as one of the healthy activities organised by the Health Promotion Board.
Cocoa powder added to improve the taste.
This is my first trip to Sentosa Cove. I had long heard about the restaurants and wanted to explore them. Finally, found time to sample one with my wife.
Interesting layout and decorations
There’s many drinks, mainly wine which not quite what we can take. So we just settle for simple ones. Next up, the hot tapas.
Calamares a la Plancha- Pan-fried calamari
Champinones al Ajillo- Garlic mushrooms
Verduras a la Parrila con Aceite de Oliva- Mixed grilled vegetables with extra virgin olive oil
Gambas- Grilled red leg prawns served with miso mayonnaise
Atun a la Parrilla- Grilled tuna steak served with chachouka
After the lunch, we had a nice stroll back to the car park.
The food is nice, just too little calories for me… as usual.

This is my first time attending the Asean Para Games and I brought my family along. Compared to typical able-bodied basketball, Wheelchair Basketball shows more sportsmanship. The reason being that it is very common for players to fall down and though some might be able to flip themselves up quite spectacularly, others had to be helped up and these quite often included players from opposing team!
In the end, even though Singapore lost to Thailand at 51 to 19, the players had tried their best. Thailand indeed played well and were more skillful.
National flags of ASEAN countries.
And the game begins.
The growing score gap… don’t give up!
Half-time light display
Best time to come is during lunch to avoid the crowd.
The entire exhibition is mainly 2 video screening and one display exhibit.
There is also a playground outside for the kids. Though noon is not really that idea for fun.
