Took a day leave to enjoy some morning walk alone at the Henderson Waves again. This skywalk bridge had already been around for quite sometime and hence there were already many photographs available on the internet.
One of the many ‘shot to death’ views of the Henderson Waves.
Today, I specifically set out to (re)explore it with my fisheye lens this time.
No, I didn’t bother to correct the distortion.. and decided to work them into my shots instead. But I did made an effort to ‘minimise’ unwanted distortions.
Even though I aim today was to cover the Henderson bridge, but I can’t help to notice so many spiders available for photography… especially when I came across a gigantic one that is really really hard to miss. No macro lens was required for this one.
This is another annual event that I will make an effort to attend every year. Without fail,I brought my family to enjoy the performance. As my kids grow older, they are better able to enjoy the show.
This is a very comical MC… with each angbao she receive.. she’ll come up with an idiom (成语) that begin with a numeral to ask more angbaos. At her fourth angbao.. she said ”来个五福临门“… with another angbao… she said “再来个六六大顺吧！“.
However, ‘static’ stage performers like singers still fail to catch their attention… even with their outlandish costumes. Dances and acrobatic displays is still the best entertainment for kids.
These girls are cute… they just look like dancing dolls.
From more traditional chinese dances to more modern ones, we kids love them all.
But the performance I personally like best is still the martial arts dance.
Great performance! Look forward to huayi 2014 ^_^
